Jobs for Inexperienced Workers

Thank you for your interest in planting with Brinkman & Associates Reforestation Ltd. We will be accepting applications starting January 1st from inexperienced treeplanters for our 2012 spring/summer contracts in Ontario, Alberta and BC. You will find the form at the bottom of this page.

an inexperienced worker stands smiling in her new gear on a steep hillsideIt is important to understand what this unusual job entails before you consider applying. Successful candidates are well-informed about tree planting. Ask friends who have tree planted to tell you all about it (the good and the bad), and go online to learn more about it (read the info and watch all the videos on YouTube). If you want more information on treeplanting in general there are a number of excellent websites. Both tree-planter.com and replant.ca are good sites that will give you a balanced perspective on the silviculture industry in Canada.

In Ontario, there are positions open to work with Brinkman in both the North and South.

In Southern Ontario we work with long term clients that involve both public and private land. The positions open in Southern Ontario involve a mix of treeplanting and herbicide application. The length of season is similar to that in Northern Ontario and allows workers to stay closer to home. If working in Southern Ontario appeals to you, please make note of this on your application.

We respond to all applicants within one week from January through April. If you don’t hear back from us please contact neil_whan@brinkman.ca

If you are an experienced planter, please use the Experienced Planter form
